Momo challenge Good Afternoon RPEMS families, I wanted to share a resource with information related to the Momo challenge. This is a very dangerous online challenge going around social media, so please take some time to read this resource. It is always important for us to remain vigilant with our children, especially when it relates to social media. Please know we have a strong related service team that provides support to all of our students when needed. If you are concerned about your student, reach out to the school or to some of the resources in this attachment. We all work together to support our students at home and at school. State of the School Presentation Greetings families, At the PTA general membership meeting on 10/9/18, I shared with families the summary of school data over the last three years and discussed the achievement gap we see here at Roland Park EMS. While this information was shared last school year, the presentation of the new PARCC data and a closer look at our subgroups make it clear that we must be committed to closing the gap as an entire community. Additionally, in the presentation are the school goals and strategies from the school performance plan which aim to directly impact the gap of our student subgroups. Please expect continued discussion and updates about how we are addressing the needs of our students, including academic and wholeness. There will be another information night for parents sponsored by the PTA where our consultants can share the work taking place at the school this year and examples of goals being created to address the achievement gap. The information night will take place at the end of November. I welcome continued questions, collaboration and support to meet the needs of each student. Best, Amanda Brown View File (PDF)
